Automated Course Evalution System

The Atlantic Veterinary College, at the University of Prince Edward Island, approached CALTECH about the creation of an automated means of conducting student evaluations. The existing manual system was very time consuming in terms of work required to generate reports and summaries of the evaluations.

Using Lotus Domino, CALTECH created an automated system that allows the students to anonymously complete the evaluations using a web browser. The evalutions can then be viewed by the faculty responsible for that course and reports are easily generated using Lotus 123 and Lotus Notes Reporter.
